The Child and Family Services Program is the official agency of the Seneca
Nation responsible for providing assistance to families affected by child
abuse/neglect or adoption of a Seneca child.
Education and awareness are very important steps toward the prevention of
child abuse or neglect. The CFS Program offers parenting classes for foster parents and biological parents. The Program strives to
prevent out of home placement of Native children as the goal of the case
plan is to reunify the family. The Program provides case management services
and referrals to other agencies that will help the family serve the best
interests of the child.
The Child and Family Services Program can provide assistance through court
ordered or self referral situations. To learn more about the services
provided by the Program, call 716-945-5894
on the Allegany Territory or 716-532-4093
on the Cattaraugus Territory.
