Community Health Nurse RN (FT)

Job Description:

To provide skilled nursing outreach services to community members within the health care delivery areas. These services shall include but not limited to: General Health Care, Maternal Child Health Care, Gerontology, Community Outreach, Health Education, and Patient Advocacy.


Graduate of accredited registered nursing program. RN license in NYS, CPR certified, and also previous experience in clinical setting required. Must have the ability to execute independent nursing decisions and possess invasive clinical skills such as venipuncture & IV therapy. Must have strong physical assessment skills. Ability to read, write, and use personal computer, laptop, and drive an automobile. Must have valid NYS driver’s license. Physical ability to access patient homes and provide personal care. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen in accordance with the Drug, Alcohol and Controlled Substance Abuse policy. Background check may also be required.

Contract & Credentialing Coordinator (1 FT)

Job Description:

The Contracting and Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for the credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging process for all employee and consultant providers that deliver patient care at the Seneca Nation Health System. Initiates and maintains enrollment with insurance carriers for all eligible providers delivering care at the SNHS. Reports directly to the Medical Billing Manager.


Associates Degree with a minimum of three years’ experience in the healthcare setting or certification as a Medical Credentialing Specialist preferred. Must have experience with data entry and working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as an effective team member. Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional demeanor are essential. Must have ability to manage competing priorities.


Coordinator of Seneca Strong (1 FT)

Job Description:

The Coordinator of Seneca Strong is responsible for daily service integration and quality of peer support and case management services provided by the Peer Recovery Advocates and the Outreach Coordinators. The incumbent will actively support and implement a strengths-based, culturally competent, peer-centered approach to working with eligible individuals. Provides supervision to the Peer Recovery Advocates, administrative assistants, and the Outreach Coordinators. Reports directly to the Director of Behavioral Health.


Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field from an accredited school. Must have current New York State OASAS CASAC credential. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a substance abuse field, including counseling, supervision, and peer advocacy is mandatory. Must have at least three (3) years supervisory experience with substance abuse/peer supervision. Highly organized with the ability to understand and provide feedback on budgetary expenditures. Ability to work with diverse staff.
