Elder and Disability Case Manager (1FT)

Job Description:

Incumbent will conduct assessment for the populations that devise an elder and disabled individual. These individuals are those that are listed with the Seneca Nation of Indians’ clerk’s office and/or the Seneca Nation Disabilities program. The focus of this position is to determine the needs of these individuals and provide outreach and coordination of services. The Elder and Disability Case Manager determines the needs of the individual, and provides referrals and/or an intervention to meet the unmet needs of the person. This can include a referral to Behavioral Health, medical, Seneca Strong, AOA, outside resources and more.


Preferred: Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited school of social work or related field; preferably 3 years’ experience working with elders and individuals with disabilities; Minimum 2 year Associate’s degree from an accredited school of social work or related field with 5 years working with elders and individuals with disabilities. Valid NYS driver’s license and the ability to drive a Seneca Nation vehicle. The individual should have a good understanding of the laws that govern the elderly as well as the disabled. Ability to perform culturally competent services. Knowledge of the medical field associated with these two populations. Excellent oral and written communications skills including public speaking. Highly organized, with the ability to develop organizational tools and track data. Excellent computer skills including word processing, email, internet, spreadsheet and database usage.

Community Health Nurse RN (FT)

Job Description:

To provide skilled nursing outreach services to community members within the health care delivery areas. These services shall include but not limited to: General Health Care, Maternal Child Health Care, Gerontology, Community Outreach, Health Education, and Patient Advocacy.


Graduate of accredited registered nursing program. RN license in NYS, CPR certified, and also previous experience in clinical setting required. Must have the ability to execute independent nursing decisions and possess invasive clinical skills such as venipuncture & IV therapy. Must have strong physical assessment skills. Ability to read, write, and use personal computer, laptop, and drive an automobile. Must have valid NYS driver’s license. Physical ability to access patient homes and provide personal care. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen in accordance with the Drug, Alcohol and Controlled Substance Abuse policy. Background check may also be required.

Administrative Assistant - Dental Unit (1FT)

Job Description:

Provide administrative support to the attention of the supervisor. Assists in the development of departmental procedures, serves as liaison between staff and supervisor/department head. Performance objectives include planning, research, communication, project coordination, record keeping, inventory management and budgeting. To take the responsibility for the Privacy Officer and Security Officer to set up and maintain all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI) regardless if on paper or electronic form.


High school/Equivalent plus a 2 year degree in Office Management/Business Administration or related field preferred. 3 years work experience. Must be computer proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of office management; knowledge of personnel practices and supervision. Ability to provide/recommend solutions to problems; ability to get along with others and secure cooperation; exercise good judgment and thoroughness.
