Dental Department Mission

To enhance the Oral Health of the Seneca Nation and Native American community it serves by providing a comprehensive range of Oral Health and Patient Education services that address the well-being of each individual.

 

 Department Focus

We fulfill this mission at two health care facilities and several community outreach locations focusing on prevention, restoration and oral health education.  We strive to decrease the prevalence of oral diseases by educating patients and providing preventive services and reverse the effects of oral disease with comprehensive care.

Comprehensive care includes: cleanings, examinations, fillings, crowns, root canal treatment, extractions, bridges, dentures, partials, sealants, orthodontics, oral surgery and implant restoration.

SNHS Dental operates Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

 

Routine, Emergency and Urgent Appointments are available and offered based on an individual’s unique needs.

SNHS Dental follows all Seneca Nation holidays and SNHS Emergency closures. If an appointment is cancelled due to an emergency closure, patients may expect a call the next business day and every effort will be made to reschedule your appointment within 2 weeks.

Home Science Project for Students (click here): Don't have a fluoride mouth rinse at home? You can brush your egg with fluoride toothpaste. Make sure you do it for 2 minutes and don't rinse off. Then follow the instructions for placing the egg in vinegar.
