We realize that our closures whether planned on annual Holidays, or last minute in cases of emergency can be an inconvenience to our patients. Please read the information shared on this page for some insight and procedures to follow when we are closed. Many of our departments provide access 24/7 and are using an on-call procedure: please see the phone numbers listed at the bottom of the page.
A medical provider is always "on call" whether it is after hours, the weekend, a holiday, or a last-minute or unplanned closure.

Back-up Pharmacy Procedure: For patients who will be out of medications during our closure and need a refill before our reopening:
- LRJHC patients call 945-5894, CTHC patients call 532-5582
- Choose option 1- to be routed to our answering service
- Request to have a prescription called in to our back up pharmacy
- A SNHS provider will verify the prescription you need and call in to Gowanda or Salamanca Rite Aid, they are familiar with our procedure.
- Please give the pharmacy time to begin processing your order to avoid unnecessary travel. We strongly suggest calling ahead to confirm the pharmacy received your prescription and to provide them with your insurance information. There is no cost associated with using the back up pharmacy.
